    Ok, this has been on the local news the past couple of days and all they talk about is how ticked off all of the people are who wanted to go on their cruise. The news showed several people yelling and *****ing about how bad Carnival is treating them and yada yada yada.

    What am I missing here?

    Carnival refunded everyone's tickets AND gave the vouchers worth 25% off of their next cruise.

    Seriously, the ship was hit by a barge and has a 30ft gash in it. How this is the fault of Carnival I do not understand!

    I don't know why, but for some reason this really bothered me that all these people blamed Carnival for 'ruining' their vacations. In fact, they are even trying to get Carnival to pay for their hotel stays here.

    Ok, I just had to vent not only because these people were saying all of these things, but also because the local news said nothing about the fact that this whole thing is ridiculous since it wasn't even the company's fault. :)

    Probably have a class action lawsuit against Carnival any day now.

    Seems to me the tug operator should be refunding everyones ticket and paying for hotel stays.

    you are a brave man. With all the people getting sick, falling overboard, barges hitting ships , 70 ft waves hitting ships I don't know if I would go on a cruise if you paid me.

    Based on how Carnival treated its guests in the aftermath, I really don't think the court would give the plaintiffs a fighting chance.

    Now THAT is the lawsuit I would want!!! I am sure the Tugboat company, Barge company, Captain & the Company that employs him, etc. are all making sure thier insurance policy is up to snuff.
