I'm thinking of changing the color of the carpet in my 308 from black to red. The interior is now all black, but I think the red carpet would really make it look great. My question is, does anybody have a good pic of this color combo in a 308? I would really like to see it. Also, I know Itailian car parts does carpet sets, but they are really out to lunch on there prices. I would like to know if any of you have source for the wilton wool carpet. I may have a source through work that can do it for me, but I have not reserached that yet. Thanks for the input.

    Tom,

My 246 Dino had the red carpet/Black combo.

I'm currently switching it out for black carpet/tan daytona with black stripe

The red was a little over the top for me. Screamed out 70's. Oh well.

As to Wilton wool carpet http://worlduph.com/ferrari.htm#CARPET

http://reoriginals.com/ - great stuff too, not sure if it's wilton, ask Matt there.

I bought mine at world upholstery, and it looks and fits great. I don't know if your car has kick panel vents, but if it does, be sure to specify that to them otherwise you're cutting the holes yourself.

Thanks for the tips..I'll look into it on tuesday!!

Thinking about your 70's comment though..Maybe your right..but I still kinda like it. I was driving around this morning and kinda figured the interior could use a little color. It's dull driving around with an all black interior IMHO. It feels so dark and dreary..kinda depressing!!

I used Gahh carpet. I can't remember what the material was made out of. It was $700 with shipping.

Tom, mine just has the red door panels and seats. I like the black carpet and think it would be too much if it was red as well or red with black seats. Ill be replacing my seats with racing buckets in red. Do you plan to leave the seats in black?

Yea I was going to leave the seats black. Basicly all I was going to do was swap the carpet and levae everything else. I was also thinking Tan aswell. I just want to brighten up the interior..make it less dull and depressing.

Any other ideas are more then welcome
