I asked a Master Ferrari Tech on this, and said best is to just buy a car that has it already.

 

The bluetooth absolutely sucks on these cars. Sometimes it plays right where I left off, others, I have to play with the radio and then jump back to Bluetooth and magically, music starts playing. Do a forum search on here but many horror stories of issues with the cars that have aftermarket electronics. Just get one of those good cupholder phone holders for your car and call it a day. You're in a 488 gtb, the engine noise is all you need haha.

 

Well I still haven’t received mine. For some reason it’s taking forever but now it’s indicating it’ll deliver on Tuesday. It’s a cupholder phone holder that another forum member recommended sometime ago that I found while searching on this chat.

Guy on the Facebook 458 forum just installed one this weekend, Aug 9-10, 2025. And I know one of our local Indy shops installed one in a 458. Seems to be a bit of work and some functions are a bit quirky but it does work it seems.

I put the KKS unit into my 458 and it’s works great.
