    I can relate, but think a 10 - 15 year old Montgmery Cheddar from the gorge is best.

    Chedder & ale... maybe some soda bread as well. YUM!

    el wayne is on it!

    just a fantastic combo of flavors...the shafer is stunning and the aged cheddar brings out so much more flavor in the wine.

    my typical wine is caymus cabernet, sometimes the select...both are great....but got the shafer and cheese as a gift and was mightily impressed.

    the finer things in life...like good wine and cheese and the unique sight, sound and smell of a fine automobile....urotrash is lucky to have the 246....i hope my '59 maserati is done being restored soon!

    np - but I made a mistake saying the 5 yr odd-sized chunks are $4/lb. It's more like $4 for a 1/2lb. A little aged cheddar goes a long way though!
