No, I haven't. But you clearly have, for there is an inference within your words which betrays that of a Porsche driver!

You rascal JRS! At least I didn't drink too much wine last night and feel obliged to take the day off today! Anyway I am only sixty eight - the fun starts next year when I hit 69. I've been told about this for years and am looking forward to it immensely. If its true that you are only 26 you have forty three years to wait before you get the 69 treatment! I saw a 360 today with the registration number A1 GTB - it came past me like an exocet and sounded fantastic. This is what you ought to get for yourself - get rid of the Porsche and get a proper car - no Porsche sounds like a 360. In fact all Porsches sound like Volkswagen's!

You silly boys - don't be so prickly. What's the problem - did the Porsche fail to commence this morning? I'd made my second million by the time I was forty one. If you want to get rich and acquire a Ferrari or two - the first thing you need to do is not call people fools. It is likely to antagonise them. Perhaps you should read the book called 'How To Win Friends and Influence People. Now, which Ferrari would you like to own - if you had the money?

Now this is most unkind. What is it that I have done wrong? I certainly have not made offensive personal comments such as you have done. You are taking yourself far too seriously for one so young. This is a democratic site and one is therefore free to cast ones opinions. However, democracy does not mean that one should broadcast insults of the nature of yours, merely because someone's views and opinions do not accord exactly with your own. Forgive me for saying so, but it is not good manners to behave in such a way.

Well said! Clearly you have been as amused as I with this little adventure into human psychology. And thank you for your very kind suppport - which is very much appreciated.

Presumably, the car in the heading is yours? The Sports Seats look wonderful. But which Ferrari is it?

its a ferrari f512m i would of thought an old fart like you would of known this as you have been on earth a long time we have something in common as i have had 3 p100 pickups i think the man[traitor] who started this thread should have his ferrari taken of him and be made to ride round in a porsche as punishment

    Dear Steve,

It is unbecoming for a Ferraristii to use such language as old fart. I had presumed the vehicle to be an F512M, but presumptions with insufficient information is a game only played by non members of the intelligentsia. Indeed, one or two people with recent postings on the 'Porsche Controversy' are no doubt still licking the wounds of their injured pride in making similar assumptions (JRS & Co) However, is the F512M a recent acquisition? I ask this question because one was for sale perhaps nine months or so ago and was the personal car of a proprietor of a dealership. There was also another for sale in Scotland - also with sports seats. For some time, perhaps three years or so, I have kept a weather eye open for a yellow 512M. If you hear of a good one I should be delighted to be informed of its whereabouts. However, there has been a yellow one for sale with a number of peripheral dealers for at least three years.

P.S. I note your comment concerning whomsoever created the Porsche Thread. I understand that it was JRS - which seems about right.

    Dear Steve,

I suspect it was this car which I recall seeing advertised. There cannot be too many fitted with the sports seats. My understanding, is that they were an extra which, when new, exceeded four thousand pounds. However, they certainly look jolly nice indeed. You may not be aware that there is the potential for electrolytic corrosion adjacent to where the side strakes are separated by the black components. It is very, very expensive to remedy. However, a few drops of oil placed around the aforementioned area's will almost certainly eliminate the potential of it occurring. I am familiar with the yellow car which you so kindly mentioned. A good friend sent photograph's of it almost for years ago when it was for sale with Specialised Cars. I have seen it advertised many times since with various dealers; some of which you have mentioned.
