I guess it would be pretty disappointing if the brand new Porsche lost to a Corvette based on a 6-year old model that costs $50k less
I went to the Porsche Dealer today to look at the 991, as I was not that impressed when I saw it at the LA Auto Show a couple months ago in Silver. Today I sat in a White one and was very impressed by the car. The updates on the PDK compared to the last 997 are pretty big, and the car is very quick. I also went to McLaren and sat in the MP4 12C, I have to say the car is fabulous. Getting in is a bit challenging, but what a great interior and the level of quality is beyond reproach.
i ordered a white 911 cab a few weeks ago. should take delivery in mid may. after test driving the coupe i was "sold"!
I saw 991 live for the first time last week. Did not like the very busy rear end and they obviously added some touches here and there to the front (which were not really needed) just to separate 991 from 997. Styling wise I think they topped it with a 997 Carrera S pre-facelift! Just a perfect modern 911.
Congrats! I'm waiting for the C4S before pulling the trigger. I'm looking forward to its slightly wider hips and all-weather capabilities. I'm thinking about Platinum Silver over Espresso.
