Bob Collum is one of the kindest and most generous individuals I know. He is not Ferrari owner and posts his pictures as a serious am photographer so others can enjoy them wherever they are. He loves taking photos of cars and knows that people around the world come here and look at the C&C photos.

It is a shame that he has not been given special extra space to post his photos of our beautiful Italians at no cost.

I don't think you are coming off like a jerk at all. I agree with you, maybe the mods can see this and up your space. I can try to make an effort to post the pictures I take.

Bob and I have spoken via pm about the matter, I was not the moderator of this section when he sent out his pm back in 2010.
The bottom line, we have several amatuer and professional photographers in the MAR, those that continue to post pay for a "silver" or "rossa" membership, those that prefer not to pay, do not post. If someone would like to buy him a subscription feel free, there is nothing preventing that from happening.

Thanks to ALL that contribute here, it is appreciated.

All of those wonderful cars,a F40 that I am sure I have spent some hours driving (if it belongs to who I think it does,) and I am most excited about seeing a Renault Turbo! A true classic of the old days.

Anyone planning to be there on Saturday? I hate to jinx it, but after saying I'm coming up for the last couple of years it looks like I'm finally going to make it on Saturday.

Weather forecast is bright and sunny. Expect to see close to 200 cars this Saturday. There's a bunch of guys meeting up at Katie's prior to driving up to Baltimore for the ALMS race (Lashdeep is leading the caravan).

If you see a fat Indian dude with glasses wearing a heavy metal t-shirt, come by and say hi. Don't be a stranger.

When I arrived at Cars and Coffee dark and early this morning Mike from "Katie's" was cordoning off a half dozen parking spaces in order to keep them available for the adjacent retail stores' customers come opening time. That's a "first." One of the ensuing conversations revolved around how some of the local merchants want C & C moved to Sunday mornings. Around 8:30 am one of the Ferrari drivers was exiting the parking lot on the Post Office side and nailed his accelerator on that mini-stretch of driveway that leads up to Georgetown Pike. Pretty noisy aftermarket exhaust on that car, and it really got my attention, which was the point of the whole exercise. This was followed by someone being asked to move his car from a spot he had created right next to the fire hydrant at the geographic center of the lot. All very innocent with no harm done by, or to, anybody. Point being, we're lucky to have this venue to meet every week, so why aggravate anyone on any level? Nothing good lasts forever.

This is very true...one wonders if this is the same Ferrari that was then rolled on the American Legion Bridge?

Agree Dave. Sorry I didn't make it out with the 308QV this AM, but idiots like that will make that meeting dissolve quickly by our county's finest.

I go to church on Sunday AM's so if it gets moved, I will never be there.

Totally offtopic, I was down in Gaithersrburg, MD the other day. I saw a Lamborghini Gallardo that says "Stickynomore" on the side, instead of the regular "Superlegerra"
was that a regular gallardo with a superlegerra kit?

As for the crash on 495, I drove by it. It was pretty bad. I have not heard any news on the driver, but hope he made it out. :(
Here is a pic I took.

I have always seen the cones out in front of that one hair salon, which is fine if another merchant wants their spaces free, but not smart. The cars are sparse by 9:30 and gone by 10:00 when most things are open. It seems that it would be allot smarter to open up and participate, introducing yourself and business to the hundreds of mostly well to do people that are right in front of your business before it opens to regular customers instead of complaining that the lot is being used.

That looks like Robbie's new Gallardo in front of Competizione. I'm pretty sure it's a regular G with Super G trim.

The hair salon opens pretty early for customers with appointments, I think it is more than reasonable for us to leave a few spots in front of their place for their customers.
