Cars and Coffee March 3rd???

Regular "first Saturday of every month" Scottsdale Cars & Coffee starting at 9am (although folks will be there earlier) on March 3rd at Gainey Village:

I'll be bringing the Cali. First time bringing a car to C&C (actually, it will be my first time ever going). Anyway, what time do I need to be there to actually get a parking spot? I've heard that it fills up pretty quick.

 

Lately it has been filling up early. I usually get there around 30 minutes before and it was full the last two events.

 

Or you can come late like I do and there is plenty of parking!

It's not too full, but you can find a spot or two, it's usually pretty busy and it gets busier as the day goes on.

Come whenever you want, looking forward to seeing you and the car on Saturday!

 

Cars start rolling in as soon as early as the sun comes up.

I'm down for lunch, for the drive, how about up to the Bartlett Dam? Not sure how fun that would be on a weekend, maybe a little busy.

 

You guys are funny...that is exactly what I do after C&C. Lunch and the Bartlett drive...if I'm here I will be up for all of that (I may head out of the country on a last minute trip...if I'm not there that is why)

Adam - if we both agree not to wreck ;-) we should switch cars for one direction of the bartlettt drive...I'm considering getting a cali and I was supposed to drive a Cali demo at Scottsdale Ferrari this week for 4 hours one afternoon...but I was literally sitting in it with the engine running getting ready to put her into gear, when another sales guy ran over and said he had a customer who wanted to buy it and that I couldn't take it out...they ended up selling their black demo and a brand new red one that the ordering customer didn't end up getting that day. So no Cali 4-hour joy ride for me :-(

 

That sounds awesome! How is the drive around that time?

 

I'm down for the drive. I've never heard that route so it would be cool to check out something new. The wife wants to eat Village Inn. There's one on Shea by the 101 which is probably the closest.

 

Drive is good most days (I do it frequently). The fun/twisty parts are short and are preceeded by a lengthly run up Pima at 55MPH. But, its pretty out there and its (at least) something other than freeway or sitting in stop lights around here...

As it gets warmer, i suspect there will be more boat/trailer traffic on a Saturday...I typically do that drive on weekdays just to avoid any...

What's a village inn?

 

That stinks about the demo car. When I was in last summer their demo was a red one, I guess that one must have gotten sold before the black one arrived.

I am not sure if I will be able to do lunch afterwards. My in-laws arrive on Saturday and I am picking them up at the airport. Let's talk about it at C&C and maybe we can figure something out.

I got a long drive in the Cali today, including the bartlett run. So, I'm all educated up on that car!

 

my fav time of the month! C&C! have to drop dad off at the airport afterwards so i'm hoping to get there early and get some good pics!

 

I'll be coming up from Tucson for this. If anyone wants to get together for a photoshoot afterwards let me know!

 

Haven't seen a G500 Cabrio in years! Do you have a black one, I think that's what color it was for the one I saw back in 07 in Tempe.

 

What are the production numbers on those?

 

Will the Jerrari actually be in attendance this time? LOL

Got there at 8:15 and the center area was already full. Parked next to Cask 63, near the white Aventador. Realized that I don't know what any of you look like, except for Jim, so my buddy and I wandered around.

Left around 10:30.

I'll be at the Windgate Festival of Speed so hopefully we can put some faces to the names.
