Oh man it will be a little nippy in the morning...then again someone thinking that and skipping the last outing would have missed what seemed to be one of the best C&C's of the year!
Unfortunately I can't make it (breakfast w/Santa event to go to with the kids...) I just got back from west caldwell area- around 8:30AM I saw a nice white XK120 or XK140 jaguar coupe followed by a red late 80's 911- I wonder if these guys were going to the C&C? Hope everyone has a good meet- wish I could go!
Great time today, huge turnout. Highlights for me were the mint '73 Carrera RS and the old school Bentley. Wish I had brought my camera. See you all in 2011. -Gary
Sorry I couldn't make it out today...glad to hear that so many showed up in December! Looking forward to the next one...
It was on passaic avenue by the Shop Rite...not sure if it had a tail, I think it had the stone guards. It was right behind a mint old Jaguar coupe!
Wasn't me then, no stone guards. But there was a nice old white Jag XK140(20?) at C&C. Think I've seen the same one there before, parked right about in the same spot.
I'm sure it's the same jag that I too have seen at the C&C...from the area I saw him, he could pick up route 280 a couple of miles away, to 287 and on to the C&C! Hope everyone had a good time- anyone have some pictures?

Scott- some excellent pictures there- thanks for posting. Wow a beautiful bently, Carrera RS and Shelby 350 (is that a real one or clone?) Many beautiful cars!! Of course I wish I could have made the gathering, but there will be more in the spring! Is it too early to start counting down the days?
Plenty of activities to keep your mind off the car craze this winter. I can't name any w/o a nice price tag but um...well maybe cooking! (I need to try that myself) Nice pics sbpwjm
1) Interesting that we had 5 Ford GT's there -- the most I can recall before was 2 2) The guy who brought the old Bentley is the same person who brought the 1911 Rolls last time -- I understand he has quite a collection 3) We are now over 200 official members of Cars & Croissants -- plus many are out there lurking , I know. . Unbelieveable. When Abi and I started this in June 2009, we had 30 cars show up, which was great, but now it seems we are regularly getting 100+ cars. As I've said to many people, I have less desire to go to car shows given what we see every time at C&C -- amazing what people are bringing out -- old and new. 4) It was funny to see 10 guys swarm over to the Fiat Dino when it arrived. We are getting a bit jaded so when something different shows up, everyone is all over it. 5) The Mallett Pontiac Solstice came to the previous C&C as a car for sale at High Marques and showed up this time with a new owner (a regular at C&C). Perhaps it was the legend that is developing about its performance off a stop light vs the Enzo? Kirk
Angry that I missed the last one of 2010. Looks like a great turnout for a chilly morning. Can't wait for 2011 Maybe we'll have a 458 Italia Spider arrive (If it's out) as a first like the LFA haha If not in the spring, in the summer my father and I will most likely have something worth driving to the C&Cs. Looking around now for some cars, but will have to wait for '11. Good luck and happy new year everyone. See you next year.
I agree with you- I really don't need to go to any official car show that features only one marque (well, maybe I would for Ferrari or Porsche ), and the early morning time of the meets lets me actually get to go vs. a typical car show that's in the middle of the day and more difficult to get to. While I wasn't there this past meet, I couldn't agree more with comment #4 and had to laugh- we're getting spoiled by seeing so many rare cars meet after meet, but when it comes to cars I don't mind getting jaded by these C&Cs . The variety of cars is spectacular and I'm glad lots of folks fire up their rare oldies to come out and socialize!
Yes, it seems that more older cars are showing up at the meet which makes it even more interesting. I like old american classic cars as well as the modern imports. Now we are seeing both at Cars and Croissants which is great. When spring comes, I am going to bring out some of my real old cars from the teens, 20's and 30's. Some of them have not been out of the garage in a long time so if I have too, I will bring them on the flatbed. I look forward to springtime already.
I forgot to mention that -- yes, that Toronado was a great treat to see. You are right -- one of the things people always mention to us is how great it is to see the variety of cars. We do need more old American classics -- bring 'em out!
I'm still waiting for a Veyron to show up....there must be one in the area! Also no BMW Isetta yet....maybe for 2011?
I don't recall an Isetta -- but maybe I just missed it. A Messerschmitt, Fiat 500, Honda 600, Nash Metropolitan (sort of fits the category) -- all microcars that we have seen at C&C. Am I missing others?
There have also been 2 Morris Minors (Minis), a Smart car and although not a microcar, the yellow Opas (sic).
