    Folks,

The weather forecast for Saturday(70/Sun) is much better than that for Sunday(60/rain).

As such, we will change to Saturday for this week’s C&C. Hope this doesn’t mess up your weekend plans too much!

    Date: Saturday, April 24

    Start Time: 8:30AM
End time: Whenever the last car leaves

    Location:
    Woodland Bakery
    650 Shunpike Road
    Chatham, NJ 07928
Please do not park in the first row of parking spaces on the right in front of the shops as you enter the parking lot.

A DB5?!? Wow. Lots of beauts there this AM! And what great weather! Sadly, I am in South Jersey on a family mission in the minivan. Distinctly not performance motoring.

Folks, that was a real diverse car show today! For an impromptu gathering, there was a staggering array of unusual assets: early Vettes, the grey 250 GT, that gorgeous Alfa, the XK120 (I think), a 67 'Cuda, the custom Porsche. It's hard to get that kind of quality at a "real" car show.

    Again, wow!

What is the car in the first photo (white)? Is it a TVR?

    First car is a TVR.

The grey 250 is a 250GT SWB and I'm pretty sure it is original - magnificent car!

    Regards,

    Art S.

PS. for those that care about value: the SWB, if original, is probobly worth more than all of the other cars put together - its very cool that it was brought out for the event.

Clyde, great pictures. Lots of great cars just keep coming. Since I couldn't make it yesterday, I hope they show up again next time. See everyone next time.

I agree that the diversity at C&C is a great feature. We have, from the beginning, encouraged all car guys with interesting cars to show up. I mean, just because you own one marque doesn't mean you can't appreciate others, and most people have told me this is one of the fun things about our events.

I have to tell you, though, one side effect is that I find I am having less interest in going to other car shows! It is really is unbelieveable what we have show up at C&C. These are all cars we have had at C&C:

    Ferrari -- 250 SWB, Enzo, Scuderia 16m, 430, 360, 348, Daytona, Dino, 328, 308, 512bb, Testarossa, 512 TR, 599, 612, 456, 550, 365 GT2+2

Lambo -- Miura, Countach, Gallardo, Murcielago, Diablo

    Porsche -- 911's of all types and age (turbos, cabs, GT3, GT2), 968, 944, 914, 928, Panamera

Alfa -- 8C, late 50's and early 60's touring spyders, Guilietta, 70's spyders

American -- Vipers, Corvettes, 60's Barracuda, 60's Mustang, new Shelby Mustang, Packard, original Cobra, Nash Metropolitan

British -- Jaguar E-type, XK120, Morgan, Austin Mini, DB5, DB9, original Land Rover, Lotus -- Esprit, Elise, Exige, Elite

Others -- TVR, Lancia, Kaiser Darrin, Puma, Fiat 600, Pantera, 80's BMW M6

I'm sure I have missed some (add the ones I have missed, guys), but the list is truly amazing.

    Keep 'em coming!

    Kirk

(*sniff*) The Mondial, Ferrari's black sheep of the family (at least now in the secondary market), once again is left out. (*sniff*) . One day, their time will come.... :)
