ZUL8TR made a great Colts post in the Superbowl thread. I'm waiting for him to stop in to the "Geaux Saints" topic in the Louisiana section.
Yup, thinking of putting the Blizzaks on the P-car for C&C this weekend GO COLTS!!! Thought you guys might enjoy the waking of the Beast after 2 months of hibernation http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCgYDtoMD5k
Whisky doesn't like me for pointing out his poor projections for the playoffs. LOL! There was an interview on the TV with MN fans that were in New Orleans. If I was from New Orleans, I would be embarassed by how visitors to my town were treated. Disgusting! SMS...and yes...I just stirred the pot in that thread...I'm a bad man for that...
You might want to use some sturdier lumber on that two post lift. I don't think it will hold the load as built.
An electrical engineer criticizing a mechanical engineer's design. It holds up just fine, thank you! Its OSHA approved.
March 6, 2010 - Snow finally gone!?!? Weather is supposed to be sunny and in the upper 40s to low 50s! Rain following for the next week should clean all the salt off the road. Time to make sure the cars still turn over and get ready for another full season of C&C. Looking at a few C&C regional road trips this season. One of course will be to the Ft Wayne Ferrari & Friends get together.
Well I predicted it. . . . the first decent day of the year and I am packing for another (business) trip. Fortunately I took yesterday off and was able to get both toys out for about 30 minutes of street exercise. My fingers are crossed for a duplicate weather day next Saturday.
We missed you at the tour Bill. But remember if you don't drive em, they won't wear out or break and I can't fix em!! Safe trip, Brian
Saturday, March 20th Morning is supposed to be cloudy and rain is not due in until late afternoon. Recent rain should have cleaned up all the road salt too!
As of now the 911 is planning to make its first C&C appearance. Just got back from a short cruise and refuel in the 308 . . . . sure felt good! Hopefully many others will make it tomorrow.
Unbfortunatetly I have a funeral to attend today. Weather is good, hope the turn out is good. Business is picking up, trying to get as many cars on the road as I can.....
Literally just got my car back together.....CV Joints repacked, half-shafts back in, oil changed, gearbox fluids changed, K&N Filter cleaned and re-oiled. I just have to put the wheels on and get 'er down from the jack stands. Hopefully in 2 weeks I'll be down for C&C. (Next week is the "Sultan" tour. ) Hope you guys had a good turn out today. Post up some pics! JIM
We had our cub scouts Pinewood Derby race this morning so I couldn't make it. We didn't win, so to get over my mourning for our loss, I took out the Primal Princess for her first ride in four months, and it felt GOOOOOOOOD! Post Pics!!
Nice little turnout today. Sorry, I didn't get a single pic. Just happy to be there for a change. Cars: Ford GT, Gallardo, couple of Porsche, assorted Loti includng a freshly completed 7 powered by an insane Hayabusa motor, assorted BMW, NSX, Subie, EVO, 300ZXTT, S2000 and others I'm forgetting. BillE had his new to there, a '84 Carrera. Looks like a reay fun ride. Should start growing now that Spring has finally arrived. Paradise Cafe parking lot was seriously full. McAlister's just across the drive was perfect. The manager om McAlisters came out to say hello and tell us we were welcome everyend. He also ofered up free coffee or tea. LOL! He doesn't realize the size of the crowd we will soon be getting.
I have to miss the tour in Michigan but plan to have both cars at the usual C & C time tomorrow morning. We'll probably just head right to the McAlister lot as I assume Paradise will be packed again. Hopefully many others will be able to join in.
