    Folks,

Abi and I both decided that we have C&C withdrawal anxiety, and we simply must get everyone together again before the holidays. Given the weather forecast, it looks like Saturday will be the best day this weekend. As a twist, if you have put your exotic to bed for the winter, please bring your daily driver. Don't be afraid -- my daily driver for awhile was a Smart car! People smiled whenever they saw me in it (or...were they laughing at me?).

    So, same details:

    9 am

    Woodland Bakery
    650 Shunpike Road
    Chatham, NJ

As always, please do not park in the first 2 rows next to the bakery so their non-C&C customers can go about their business -- the rest of the parking lot is fine.

Also, we would like to encourage everyone to sign up for the Yahoo Group for C&C. This will be a great way to communicate going forward. The simplest option to register is to send an email to [email protected] from the email address of your choice.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday.

    Regards,

    Kirk and Abi

I was sort of a daredevil with it. I would go 80 mph in it on 78 and 287. Funny looks from most people, whatever they were driving, as I flew by in the left lane. I have since sold it.

Drove a Smart ForTwo CDI and took it up to its limiter, nearly.

Absolutely hysterical when passing others -- the faces.

With assistance of others, I am trying to get into motion an attempt to break the record for the Longest Ferrari parade. The current record is 490 cars. This will be a huge undertaking and I am not sure if it can be pulled off. Getting 500 cars together at the same time in the same place sounds easier than it will actually be. I have been in contact with Guiness, and upon receiving all the necessary information needed, I will post all requirements.

This is also going to be a charity event. There will be a fee to participate, and all proceeds raised surrounding the attempt will be going to a worthy charity. More details to follow.

I would like to thank ClydeM from Cars and Croissants for first mentioning this here and for the ideas he provided to get this going in a positive direction.

I would also like to thank Kirk and Abi from C and C, as their efforts to put these gatherings and events on have allowed me to meet many great people, and provided the spark to take on this challenge.
