Hi,

I'm looking for a LHD 550 Maranello, that was manufactured in July 1998 or earlier. The reason for this is that I live in Canada and am looking to buy a 550 to drive across Europe this summer and then ship back to Canada afterwards. To do this the car has to be 15 years old, hence the July 1998 manufactured date.

Not too bothered about colour etc - quality of the car is more important. Recent cam belts etc. is a must.

Any condition, as I will be using them as a template for caliper brackets

Don't really want a new pair as I am working out the feasibility of fitting uprated calipers/discs to my Mondial.

575 Manuals are rare. There was a blue one a few months back which sold in a day. Another one I saw more recently, was advertised for about a month, but it may have been sold and the advert not canceled as some dealers like to do.
There are a few very nice 550 around, if you keep an eye on Piston heads as they seem to pop up there first, but expect to pay around the £70,000 mark for a good low mileage one!

I have come across 3 in the last 2 months . All sold very quickly . HR Owen sold a grigio titanium car with crema Daytona seats for close to £74,000 . 17,000 miles ...
John holland sales sold a pozzi blue car with 28,000 miles for £59,000 and Simon Furlonger sold a dark grey car with after market fiorano pack for around £73,000 . 68 RHD cars in existence but half of them are now in the far east / Australia ..good luck in your search .
