Cars on 5th Event

Anyone driving down from Sarasota?

 

There's a bunch of us driving down from Orlando and Tampa on the Saturday morning. We'll be going through Sarasota on the way to pick up some people.

I'd like to do that... but I gather you guys are all heading down early because you're in the show? I wasn't paying attention and missed the registration cut-off so I'm not sure I want to go down so early!

Actually no, we have parking assigned to us next to the event but none of us are actually in the show. Lots of exotics in our group but just wanted to go down and see it

 

I'm running with the Tampa group from Sarasota. Not in a Ferrari but I'm friends with all of them. I was planning on making contact and jumping on the highway as they are rolling past either exit 207 or 205. You can meet up with me if you'd like

 

This year we have a car count of over 500 cars.

 

Is anyone leaving from DuPont's cars and coffee?

 

I'll be in a suite overlooking 5th Ave at the Inn on Fifth - has a big terrace outside - call me if u know my number or text me if want to come by and relax from the crowds

Having not done this event before, do the owners generally stay with their cars for the day or is there security for the cars?

I've registered and plan to arrive about 7:50am from Bonita Springs.

 

No security for the Ferraris.

Crowd is generally respectful and fine.

A few supercars such as the F40, Koenigsegg, etc are roped off in front of the hotel.

I will be there in my blue 550

And around 10+- classic/older Ferraris were roped off as well last year.
