If you find yourself in Naples in the next few days, this Concours may be worth your time.

    https://www.carsonfifth.com/

    From the site:

[Along with exotic and luxury cars from our sponsors], over 150 Ferraris will be on display with a fine mix of vintage and current V-8s and V-12s from Maranello that are guaranteed to please the crowds. We expect to have several new Pistas and 812 Superfasts on display.

The British contingent will include Jaguar, Lotus, Triumph and the stately Bentleys. Porsches will be plentiful including some rare race cars. American cars will not be overshadowed, with over 65 Corvettes and 80 muscle cars expected.

The Mercato section of the show will be bigger than ever with a multitude of businesses. artists, jewelers, and automotive services, and accessory suppliers will be on hand to serve the thousands of potential clients at the show.

To conclude the show, all car owners will start their cars at 4 PM sharp for a resounding Drive-Off by over 700 cars. It is a fitting send off for what is to be another successful ‘Cars on 5th’ here in Naples Florida.

Naples Florida, A wine drinking town with a car problem™.

And if you do find yourself there, be sure to stop by our booth by Exotic Carbon Fiber and say hi!

Drove off very disappointing. Police stopped the drive off after only I would say less than 75 cars and left. Let traffic jam to ruin the drive off. Don't understand what happened. Was not like that last year.

Below is a note from Tom O'Riordan reference the exit from the show in Naples on Saturday..

Thanks to all of you for making this the best show ever. Your support is amazing. Unfortunately, the exit was a disaster. I don't know what happened, but the city PD said that the Sheriffs unit was angry about something the car owners did on 41, and left. This forced 700 cars to be held up at the changes of lights. There was also an accident at 41 and 5th involving a non-show car and an ambulance but I don't really know the impact that had on the exit. I had spoken to the motorcycle units right before they headed to 3rd and everyone was on the same page as in prior years as to the plan. If you could let your members know about this, I would appreciate it. I am disappointed, but I don't want to throw the Sheriffs unit under the bus.

My first time, it was a great event with lots of fabulous cars and a lot of owners happy to talk about their cars in depth. There were also great restaurants and cafes along the boulevard for some much needed shade and lunch. My favorite was the French Brasserie Rustique, magical escargot and the beautiful professional bartender Suzie. I was a little disappointed in the VIP tent, it was 2 blocks from 5th and the food line was very long, I wasn't going to wait 30 minutes in full sun to save a few bucks. On the plus side, the VIP tent had a race car and a Monza on display. Overall, I was very pleased and will be back. The dealers had some great cars on display as well, you could buy a new Corvette for MSRP. My hotel was amazing as well, a lovely Spanish themed hacienda known as La Quinta....next year I will reserve the Inn on Fifth early! Sorry about the show car exit, I got caught in a little bit of that quagmire as I was leaving, I just reversed course for a mile or so.
