Cars with A/C have three dash vents, two vents for Non-A/C

Euro car with A/C?

Haven't seen one of those before. Didn't think that was a Euro car option.

Maybe, despite the indications to the contrary in the listing, it's not factory A/C, or was added at the customer's request after purchase.

Could have a factory unit that was installed later.

My parts book shows the A/C in the US parts section, as I recall.

'just to muddy up the waters a bit, my "operating, maintenance and service handbook" covers "FROM CAR N. 02132" and deals only with Euro cars; it does not have a 'USA' section. There are several references to A/C.

The foldouts on the unumbered pages 14 & 15 are entitled: "INSTRUMENTS AND CONTROLS (Legend)." and "6) INSTRUMENTS AND CONTROLS (Diagram)." The Euro dash is shown & labled and has A/C controls on the center console extension.

On the page 24/25 foldout, the Euro car cutaway depicts a non-A/C car with the two dash vents, as advertised.

Pages 33 & 34 are devoted to A/C on Euro cars. The diagram shows the "Layout of air conditioner unit" with three dash vents & a Euro engine. Also, we are directed to "Use only SUNISO OIL grade 43044." in our compressor. Isn't that a European product? I've not seen it here.

Those are just a few references in my (Euro) owner's manual. Again, it does not have a separate section devoted to the USA variant. In fact, it makes no reference to USA or UK cars! If the book is to be believed, there may have been some Euro cars with factory A/C. Hmmmm.

My Dino is a European production coupe, # 04092, mid-1972 production (approx. June). It definately came with a/c, with 3 dash vents.

 

I have a 348 TS Eurospec,car was imported from switzerland,I have A/C
