Currently have a 99 6 cyl. Mustang. Fast enough for me but Im thinking in a few years I will upgrade to a Mustang GT of the same bodystyle. Logical because I know I can fit my bass in the car (a must unless I want to buy a minivan just for hauling it around) and it will be plenty fast enough for me to safely drive. Not to mention it sounds 10x better than my car Ill probably keep the GT for a while and drive it into the ground through track events, etc Before I end up with a Ferrari. Goal is to get into a Ferrari in 4-6 years depending on how my situation is after college and how long I want to wait and save for a better car. Do I want a 308 GT4 or do I want to wait it out for my dream 355 GTS. We will see

Fazio, don't bother w/ the 240hp, the WRX is just as fast if not damn near close, the 3.0L I have has 225hp is a tad slower then a friends WRX, an extra 15hp won't do much- you'd be very disappointed- the 315hp version on the other hand ...

The R34 drives OK... its suspension set up is way too stiff for Thai roads though. The car is too heavy and the throttle response is not too good. It suffers quite a bit of turbo lag. But part of it is my fault for installing the blow off valve that dump the intake out. In stock form it's dead slow. But with just intake, exhaust, intercooler, and electronic boost controller (just 1.05 bar of boost) it produces a bit over 370 hp at the wheels; and the car comes alives above 3500 rpm. On track, it's great fun. But I gotta keep it on the boiled, preferably above 4500 rpm. The handling is superb with a tendency to oversteer in tight corner and understeer in high speed corner (unless you want a power slide, then brake a bit heavy, turn a bit more, and floor the gas). But overall, it's very drivable car, just a bit porky. But it can't be compared to my EVO though. That thing is a monster from A-B point....but that's it!!! The R34 is just more lively. The steering is a bit dead, but accurate enough for the 4WD. The brake need to be upgraded though (at least the pads). I own it for 5 years now and never get bored with it. It's a good daily driver (except for the harsh ride) with big trunk and big interior. Nothing ever broke down. It starts every time. And it can be tuned to produce much more power (that's coming..he he). However, it's not a Ferrari....but it will no be compared to a Ferrari. They are different animal... I love them for a different reason...

In regards to the other R34 owner, are you sure you own that car?? My GT-R is nothing but slow off the line, the thing hooks up so hard and slingshots off the line harder than most cars out there, seriously, your full of BS or you have seriously mangled your car dude. Gotta keep em stock, that's he rule. Mind you, it does handle like a pig. I recently owned one of the best handling everyday cars ive been in. Ive driven an Enzo and that was awesome, but what came second to that was my ol'e 22B. That was an awesome car........ I miss it...
lib22b..are you sure you have driven an Enzo..are you sure it wasn't a replica? Maybe it was a toyota MR2 boosted at 3.0bar...are you sure?? You know what! To each his own. This is why God give us the ability to think and express differently on the same matter.
Yes i have driven it. Not on the roads, but on the track. And i think i can tell the diff between an Enzo and a MR2. What the hell where you talking about back there anyways.....
