Too bad all these GT3's are coming back for repair. Porsche has put a "no sale" on the GT3's until they find out why 5 of them recently burned to a crisp.
I agree, Gary. Hope the German engineering can continue it's legacy by figure out the cause. I heard it was some oil leak on those five GT3s.
All those GT3's are back at the dealer waiting for Porsche to determine what to do with them. I have one in production when it was halted on 2-14-2014. Let's see if I get the GT3 before I get the call to order an F12? My guess the F12. Porsche has and continues to not say a word!!
Just got a call from Porsche NA, they told me my car is no longer in production and they have no idea when it will be back in production. They have stopped producing the GT3. They told me is was a problem with the engine and they have not found a fix for it at this time. I told them as one who just put their toe back in the water on Porsche this is a black eye in my view and just glad I have my 458. Not sure if I will ever own the GT3.
Yes, got my call from Porsche yesterday car is not going in production until problem fixed. April 15th build, doesn't have any idea as to time
