Good points all.....let's see if I can find the damaged Chinetti Tribute.... This was the R&T poster both John Lamm and Phil had signed Image Unavailable, Please Login
I believe you are referring to the poster linked below. If so, it is still available. FWIW, I have no connection with the seller, although my previous transactions with ALBACO have been positive. https://albaco.com/products/luigi_chinetti_-_ferrari_-_memorial_poster_1994_-_phil_hill_autograph?_pos=7&_sid=4ba1b6883&_ss=r
Speaking of signatures this book for sale has quite a few of them for you... https://www.motorsportmagazine.com/shop/motorsport-books/piloti-che-gente-enzo-ferrari-hardcover-signed-by-33-faces-of-motorsport?v=6cc98ba2045f
Thank you SO much!! As I mentioned pricing an inventory that was 15 pages of titles, was very time consuming! THAT is indeed the one!!!!! 1994....wow.... Amazing and thanks!
Wow someone put HUGE effort into getting that done! I have three Editions of that title but had never seen the 3rd Edition Italian language. The Cartier Edition is a lot more pages but have never flipped thru side by side to see exactly what was added. We decided that was about 1987.
Actually, not so much in many cases, although these multi-signed copies of Piloti, Che Gente are incredible books. The story for many of them is that following Ferrari Club Italia's 1987 event at Imola a meeting was held in Maranello where Enzo Ferrari, in effect, said goodbye to his drivers, engineers, and so on from the previous decades. As the signatures and attached image attest, dozens of notables attended. Copies of Piloti, Che Gente were made available and were signed amongst the attendees (notice that Innes Ireland is holding his copy). In more recent years, often after the original attendees pass away, these books have become available. Needless to say, they are desirable and priced accordingly. They are not, however, completely unique, as I would say that a few dozen basically similar signed books are out there. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
