I had to look up what a casino host is.......... guess since I don't gamble I might not have ever known.

 

I don't drink and I don't gamble which is why I love living in Las Vegas.

I rarely drink outside of home and rarely gamble. We my play a bit if we're on the strip for a night out, but it's rare.

 

I would think if you drink or gamble a lot, living in Vegas is basically a death sentence.

 

I don't know. I know a lot of people who gamble and/or drink and keep their **** together. It's all about moderation and maturity. I think you obviously know more about it than I do, but addicts are addicts. They'll find an addiction and kill themselves where ever they are.

When I first brought my wife out here for a vacation, she didn't believe me about the people watching. It is truly world class. A fun game to play is "Is a hooker, is not a hooker." Going back to high school, we would post up at a hotel bar or lounge and bet on the women - is a hooker, is not a hooker. It can be quite a fun game, and if you know what you're looking at, it's easy to spot who is working hard for the money versus not.

 

My wife and I play that game often, its pretty easy to spot them. When I was first working out here I found out pretty fast that they don't look like hookers, they try to blend in. My favorite are the ones that sit at a slot machine not really paying attention to the machine they are playing but to everyone around them.

 

I used to stay at Palms back when the Maloofs still owned it. We'd always play the spot-the-hooker game as well, but it wasn't too difficult when a gorgeous 20 year old in a barely-there dress would walk right up to you and ask if you'd like to **** her in the arse. I know people like to talk about the 50s and 60s as the good old days, but I dunno...

 

Haha! We play spot the hooker when we are out there! It's fun especially when in a group and some people think definitely a hooker and some think no way. I thought we were the only ones playing.....

In a couple years we plan to move to vegas. No state taxes. 300+ days of sunshine and dry weather. Best restaurants and entertainment in the world. It's why everyone goes there. I just can't figure out why everyone doesn't move there. Only concern of mine is that Vegas has water for the next 30 years!

I only really gamble on the pool tables, I just play to pass time on the tables when I’m in Vegas..... it’s the only place in the world I let myself drink at all, at home I don’t touch it, but Vegas, drink, get merry, chat someone’s head off about any old rubbish, and watch the prettiest girls in the world. I love the hookers there, most of em are gorgeous and anywhere else they’d be models or entertainers (I know, they are anyway, but not that kind!).

Vegas rocks! I loved the place in the 80’s when you had to be sure you weren’t upsetting the mob, the 90’s when it started cleaning up and making entertainment other than gambling the big thing, the 2000’s with their tv tie-ins, and now, grown up, maximum glam Vegas, finally getting to be a place not only you have a massive lot of fun, but also a serious city of business.......

 

I’m currently in the process of finding out about green cards and immigration, then the house goes up for sale. I’m planning a two probe approach, I’ll buy a place, likely in summerlin, and also an apartment here in the UK, then emigrate to the US but keep the business in the uk going, visiting 1 week in 4, until such time as I’ve sorted out something to do in Vegas rather than retire completely and drive myself mental. The mrs will be fine, she can be a cocktail waitress and earn good money while she’s still young if she wants!, me, an old coot, I’ll need something to keep me out of trouble or I may end up potless and hooked on hookers!

 

Hehe, I said I wanted to get a visa, not go immediately bust! It’s no fun in Vegas if you are potless! Yeah, I’m getting good at spotting em, and I have a hard time not spending all my money on em!
