There is an adv in October Hemmings for a Series 2 Jaguar XKE that claims Magnum drove it in a TV series...where did I miss that one? A TV special in England or something?

There was an episode where he left the estate and bought his own car/apartment. Don't ask me how I know this...

Typical of Hollywood, they will attempt to make it a blockbuster that will appeal to the masses, and you, I, and everyone who loves Ferrari will probably never watch it. It will be as doofy as any other remake like Gilligans Island, Brady Bunch, Dukes of Hazzard, etc., etc.. MPI didnt stay on TV so many seasons because there was a Ferrari in the show. And they wont make a movie that only appeals to that crowd. Thats not to say they wont use a Ferrari, just that it would probably be a low priority. And really, did Thomas ever care about the car so much he would care if he seen it rotting in a shed 20 years later? He was always defering maintainance, smacking it up and getting it fixed as cheap and as shoddy as possible, just like the typical Ferrari owner, lol.

If they dont put him in a 308, I guess a 360 or 430 would work. But as for Robin being able to own anything, why did he always have an Audi? Back in those days, except for a Chevy Citation that was one of the most unreliable POS cars you could own.

Sorry I'm so cynical, I just dont think they could do it justice. They probably wont even use Tom or any of the original cast members, it will just be too dumb to watch.
