I went to Walmart to get some oil and to my surprise saw that Castrol has introduced an oil for older cars. I guess they finally figured out that the only people that were buying their 20W-50 weight oil have an old car.

Is Zinc the same additive that Castrol GTX had back around the early 1970's? I recall you could stick a finger into the filler hole and feel the coating. I thought it was graphite back then?

In any case, nice to see this.

No idea what it was back then as that's reaching back before I was around haha. These engines don't run incredibly high seat nor nose valve spring pressures anyway. The domestic stuff running 150-190lbs at the seat really needs the high zinc juice.
