I was getting a P0430 code due to high flow cats on a F430. I placed the bigdaddies mini-cat with spacers in and the CEL has gone away. Before this, I would drive 100 miles or so before the CEL went on, but you could see by the reader that the pending code was thrown much earlier. I have driven the car 200 miles and when I check with the OBD monitor, there are no pending codes. However, the Cat monitor won't re-set. How long does the re-set of the monitor take?
I'm taking a wild guess here that there's a "drive cycle" to be completed before it re-sets. A search will certainly reveal how to perform such a cycle on a 360 but I'm not sure I've seen it posted for a 430.
Correct. I followed a cycle recommendation for a vette thinking that it would be somewhat similar. Over the 200 miles, I have driven HWY, city, redlined, etc; so I'm thinking that I must have finished a drive cycle.
Well here's the one for the 360 if you wanna' give it a shot ..... I know that it can often by problematic though. You probably want to transport yourself out to a deserted highway with the engine cold and battery disconnected overnight and start from there! Image Unavailable, Please Login
