    Have you spent time behind the wheel of this car? It looks awesome and performance numbers are out of this world, but having spent an afternoon at the wheel of the SLR on city streets, I will say that I have never experienced a car that so transmits every tiny bump and pavement ripple through the steering wheel. And tracking wise, every little deviation in the pavement sent the wheel one way or the other.

    Of course this translates into the most intimate connection with the road surface, and at the track I'm sure it's awesome. I just remember thinking that for regular road use it wouldn't be all that enjoyable, aside from the fact that when you nail the gas it's like lighting a rocket booster!!

    I have spent several hours behind the wheel and you're absalutely right, you feel everything on the road. I tried to keep it at very low speeds to see how it feels and I was surprised that I could actually cruise the car but all in all, you are correct this car would be a dream on the track. Thanks for the feedback.
