    How bad is it? My 2 girl kittens are approaching 6 months & need to be fixed at some point. Is it true when in heat they will writhe about on the floor & be attacked & raped by males? My fixed male, Redman, weighs 20 lbs & would pin them easy regardless of him being neutered.
    Are they really going to turn into sluts over night? My little girls???

    Yep, they do! A friend's cat goes into heat every month or so, and she's only a couple of years old!

    Yes, get ready for your little kitteny angels to become major skanks-o-trons almost overnight. They'll sprawl and growl and stick their rear in the air to say to the boy kitties: 'do me baby'.

    Karen, before neutered did you pee around the house when in heat ?
    and also, after going through menapause does the going in heat thing stop ?

    Actually I was spayed. Tubes tied at age of 30. It took 10 years to convince my GYN doc I was serious.
    No, after going through menopause the heat thing never really stops. I’m as hot as ever but never have to worry about messy details. One thing I don’t miss.

    Get if fixed!! Cat's in heat are the most annoying thing ever. Holy hell. Plus they pee everywhere. They cry all hours of the day and night, male cats will literally rip your screens off trying to get in. It's horrible. Plus the cats live longer if you fix them.
