Does anyone have any opinions on these books? Why do they command such a high price? I just got offered 200 for the 250 SWB book. Are they worth the money? I've never paid that much for a book and i want to make sure they are worth it. Does anyone have any pics of the inside of these books? What kind of info do they have?

    Thanks

    Chris

Don't have any of them myself, Chris, but I have looked at a couple. Far too expensive for what they are in my opinion. Very nicely produced but not a vast amount of content. They are expensive only because they are printed in limited quantities. I haven't come across the 250 SWB book, but the others tend to go for half that (I am assuming your talking US dollars, of course).

    The Monographs??

They are very nicely done, and IIRC the one you are talking about, was last.

Search here for the subject, someone once told me they'd seen full sets on ebay for $400 -500.

    New, they were $75 - 85 each, so that'd be a deal.

They are just nice books, my first intro to Mario he signed my copy of the 312PB, which of course took him back down Memory Lane......he won Sebring that year, in it.........

It's not so much about the technical, as it is race history of the car featured.

And the photography is breath taking, like the one of the Matsuda Collection.

I suppose it's either worth it to you.....or not.

    I have them all........:)
