Great video and thanks for the slower playback speed suggestion. Looks like a beautiful day. The Breakers is an amazing venue for that event.

"The Breakers is an amazing venue for that event."- Agreed. I've attended every Cavallino Classic since the event began, but if the venue were to change (as is always being rumored), I'm not at all sure I'd continue going.

Mara Lago could be an acceptable venue if Breakers goes away. it has a beautiful setting also.

The grounds are very pretty, but: (1) the logistics there would be a nightmare, especially on Saturday (and remember, the Saturday concorso is only a part of the event); and (2) there are a number of folks who won't go back there until it is under different ownership.

They do just fine on Sundays classic event. :D IF for some reason the Breakers backed out it would really be the only solution in Palm Beach.

Hopefully it doesn't come to that.

I am hopeful it stays at The Breakers simply because the weekend is so perfect there. I also don't see why it's not a big net win for the Breakers.

After giving it a little thought; they actually have very little interruption for what strikes me as a boon for business. The Classic itself really only takes up the lawn for 1 day. They have the entire thing deconstructed by 7PM on Saturday. The parking lot has plenty of space. And while they offer Cavallino attendees a great room rate, they are guaranteed to be at capacity. Seafood Bar has a 2hr wait on Saturday, HMF is packed Thur-Sun nights at $30 per drink, and News & Gourmet sells $6 coffee all day long Fri-Sat to Cavallino attendees. Those receipts are all in addition to rental fees that the Classic undoubtedly pays to the property. There's a lot of money flowing that weekend and I can't imagine The Breakers really wants another BAU January weekend instead.

I was wrong. RIP Cavallino Palm Beach. What a perfect week, down the drain. Boca ain't Palm Beach Island.

The palm event is at mar a lago every year and there’s typically 100 cars there. I think it would be fine!

It would be great but as you may have heard they decided to move it to the Boca Resort instead.
