Anyone going to this event? April 7,8,and 9th in Houston. Just curious if anyone is going, I haven't heard a word about it on here.
So no one is going? Did I waste my $700 bucks here or what? Not going so far... Redcar1 RobLay StreetKing Tillman Jknight Anyone actually going? Sound off...
Most of the Houston FCA crew, except for me, Shawn, and Byran, don't frequent F-Chat all that much. Last year we had over 50 cars, if I recall correctly. My guess is that most of them will be there this year, including me. Also Franco will probably be on board now that he is living large in H-town. Dale
I imagine it will still be a big turnout. More of the Houston older crowd that isn't as active on FerrariChat. Jennie and I met a lot of great people the past 3 years we didn't know before just from the DFW or FC crowd.
I think this is the current head count. It should be a great event. Keep your fingers crossed for weather like last year.
Has nothing to do with that. There is actually a FCA Houston v ftalk thing, but is that really a "thing" anymore? All vs. one? Grady is a subscribed user of FerrariChat along with several others from Houston that frequent FerrariChat, just not as active as us with nothing to do during the day except be blow hards.
No, quite the opposite. Most FCA members can't stand JRV. I think that it is more that the visible part of the Houston FCA group is a hard core group of older party animals who don't hang out much on the Internet. I have found the same to be true of FCA members in Southern California. That is, most members are baby boomers who just don't do the Internet all that much. Dale
I think there's going to be a huge turnout just like last years. I bet ya'll guys will have lots of fun.

Nah - most of the local FCA does not surf Fchat. When I make an event I will always post about it. There will be a very strong showing of local FCA members at CAL. I know ralfabco will likely be there as well as Dr Who. I can't make it but sure as heck wish I could! (Dr Who...bring your camera and post mucho pics please) -Mike
Just got back from Cavillino Al Lago, thanks to G.O. and his crew for hosting the event and allowing the San Antonio crew to crash their party. Mookie and I drove out Friday to H-Town for the festivities. I had fun on the rally even though the F40 isn't the easist thing to get in and out of. Here are some pics of the event, and us driving down there. I don't have any of the drive back as I think Mookie went back to Galveston to hang out at the "Pink Dolphin".
