Be sure to stop by the art tent tomorrow and say "hi". I'll be the goofy guy with the cartoon voice standing next to the big hunks of metal. After two weeks of straight 12 hour days and nearly a thousand hours of total work I could use the local support and encouragement. Or you could just watch to take bets on if I fall over from exhaustion or not. I promise you'll either love it or hate it. There usually is no middle ground with my work. You'll have to wait until tomorrow for a peak but just let me say that it's BIG.
Hi Anthony, here are pictures of the two pieces you showed today - however my camera did not do them justice Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's hard to see the scale in the picture, but it must be more than 7' high. Thanks for the pictures, Kevin. Jack.
Thank you so much for the kind words. It really makes all the hard work worth it when i see people enjoying what I have done. It was great to see you Kevin and Jack. After two weeks of straight 12-14 hour days I'm just resting but I'll get more info and photos up soon. In the meantime I have a few on my site at www.hotshoestudios.com. The piece weighs over 700 lbs. and is just shy of 8' tall. It's a half scale representation of the legendary 500 F2. Everything is entirely made by hand with the exception of the carbs. The rims were made by hand but the tires are real.
