I’m an idiot. I went there in the 458 and paid crazy money to park and didn’t take any parking lot pictures. Anybody have any?
Thanks for the pictures! These photos really show how pronounced the roll bars are on the 550 Barchetta. I always thought they looked much better in black for that reason.
Car looks incredibly better w them removed. Too bad some kind of roll sensor pop-up tech wasn't used. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Agreed. Hard to imagine that technology wasn't available back then. Who did the removal modification? It's an amazing job, looks original.
The 365 GTC mentioned here https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/148338912/ should be chassis 12487.
Can anyone explain to me how this car won a Platino with an aftermarket exhaust? https://wearecurated.com/1993-ferrari-512tr/?utm_source=CURATED+EMAIL+LIST&utm_campaign=d33b8434a2-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2022_12_26_01_25&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_-d33b8434a2-%5BLIST_EMAIL_ID%5D
Can you explain when the exhaust was installed? Can you explain how the highly polished exhaust quite visible in one photo is not able to be seen in the picture when it was displayed at Cavallino? Can you explain how a 1 point deduction for an incorrect muffler can deny a car a Platino ? Can you explain what it takes to get a Platino?
I thought that an aftermarket exhaust would not give a car a Platino. Don't get me wrong,I think the car is incredible. The description did not even mention the Tubi exhaust added after the event. I do know that at the FCA, the exhaust would be a deduction. I think of Cavallino as having the highest standard which is the reason for my question.
u can have 3 points of deduction and achieve platinum which is a 97 point achievement, 96 u get nothing but a lot of questions
FCA/Cavallino. Same rules, same deductions, same judges. In fact some of the best judges available will not judge at Cavallino or have been forced out by the new regime.
