As deichenb alluded to, they invited all the past winners, and a lot of them came. I had seen many of them before, but it was great to see them again. This was on top of the regular field classics on the little green closest to the hotel.

Worth every bit of 200 dollars to me, if not double that. My favorite was the winner of the 1950 Mille Miglia, a 2 liter Barchetta, number 724. The larger displacement Ferraris broke that year, so this one prevailed.

Will go again next year, but I am prepared to be let down after seeing all the cars they had this year.

    OK Treedee3d,
Now that you've attended Cavallino, would you mind giving us your impressions of the event and whether or not it was worth the price of admission?

The show is fantastic, cars are amazing and the venue is beautiful. Is it worth a 200$ admission? Absolutely not and there were a lot less people than 2 years ago when I last attended.

On thursday there were a only a handful of spectators at the track and it was rather sad that so few attended such a great opportunity to see these cars on a track.

If the objective is to make the ticket prices sky high to keep an "inner circle" of ultra rich country club type owners who get together once a year and have their own exclusive party I'd say it was a success.

If they are trying to promote the event and get the Ferrari Enthusiasts to come out and enjoy it then I'd say they failed miserably, the place looked empty to me both thursday and saturday.

I can't speak for the ego stroke fest events like the Jet Reception and Mar A Lago brunch because I couldn't justify spending all that money so I did not attend those.

We were a group of 10 buddies and made a great week of it and enjoyed the experience but out of the 10, no one is eager to return, at least not for a while at those prices.
