Through the years, I have collected several cavallino sets, in mint condition. I have advertised two of them for sale...but it seems no one likes the price I have placed on them (though buying them piece by piece, they almost cost me as much). Does anyone really know the value of a complete set, with an original No.1 or a reprint No.1?

Having never, once, read a single issue of Cavallino, I can offer no useful info as to their worth. I did, however, have two years' worth of Prancing Horse issues available. I posted them free to a good home in exchange for shipping - I had about eight responses in three-to-five days.

What does one want offered for every issue of Cavallino, and are there enough hours in a year to want to sit down and read them all? I've only heard negative things about the publication, including its dry, uninteresting subject matter and focus on serial numbers (considering today's lust for 'privacy', I doubt the accuracy or availability of current disclosures of such data for wide publication).

$2400-$4k, IMO. I've seen that as asking prices.

It seems the current economy won't support that, eh?

I've got #11 thru current, but do not use them as reference or resource.
Just look thru them at bedtime.

I'm in #133, but they did not note the VIN number!!!

I'd say about $2500 for a full set with an original #1. I just sold an #3-#100 set missing 1,2,4,5,8 and 19,20,41 for a little under $1500.
