Has anyone added a stitched cavallino to their head rests? I've seen them done in red on a red car and I thought it looked striking. Unfortunately my head rests are plain leather without even the embossed cavallino to follow as a pattern.

If anyone has added these on, do you have a pattern that was used or did you just use a print out of the logo?

    Thanks.

I don't know what it's like in the USA but here in the UK, just about every crappy Toyota MR2 turned into a Ferrari 355 kit car has these embroidered head-rests, despite the fact that genuine 355's never had them.

To Me it gives the impression of someone trying to hard to try to say to the World: "It's a Ferrari - Honest!", and that would be My worry about having them on a real 355, it would give the impression that the car is "probably an MR2 underneath" to those who know a little about cars but who are not Ferrari savvy.

It's your car at the end of the day so it's up to you, but for Me it cheapens the cars image.

As far as I know, Ferrari's were available with various seat configurations. Some may be OME and some may be aftermarket. I've seen single color leather (like mine), colored stitching, colored piping, colored accents in the seats (Daytona seats), some with embossed cavallino's (which I have seen on several cars) and some stitched. My car is a red/tan spider and I liked the look of the red stitching as on the photo below (credit to Rick at urgetodrive.com) and IMO add while not being too over the top.

As my seat does not have them or even the embossed ones, I am looking to see if anyone has done this aftermarket.

GTBs and GTS cars have the Cavalino in the headrest.

    Spiders do not.

Well that explains why I don't have them. Still like them though.

Honestly I don't really care at all for any of the 355 seats.
