for what its worth, i ordered a 360 modena coupe custom. it was a smaller version of my car, which is ingrid sabbia with baytona seats and black piping. the car had the challenege front and back grills. the model was delivered before my car. i can't say how pleased i am with the model. these guys do an excellent job. i have been considering ordering another one. for anyone interested in working with a top-notch company regarding websire design, this would be it. i would love to see a link that shows "previous orders" to show the level of customization they are willing to do and the results.

They're Hotwheels etc.(diecast) that they customize to your own car. I bought one and was happy with it. For $100(at the time) they are a nice piece. Heck, I'll have that longer then the car.......

Not that this has anything to do with the topic at hand, but it should be duly noted that Cavallino Models does unbelievably impeccable business and makes unbelievably impeccable models... i've dealt with Rita on several occasions and she's been so curteous and professional and patient all at the same time... Cavallino Models ROCKS...!

    :)

Eddie, check out KILNJOX - not exactly stuff you want on a modelling website, but the layout is unbelievably tight; maybe email the site owner and see if he can lead you in the direction of the site's creator...

Thank you all for the responses. We put a lot of time, effort, and heart into the models. We are currently trying to expand and bring more possibilities to the customers. We want to have a self sufficient website that will be able to run similar to an automotive website, i.e. MBUSA.com, BMW.com and so on. We hopefully be working on this project within the next month or so. Also if any one has any ideas of improving our models, we always have open ears. Please send us a pm if you do.

side not, yes i am a member of is300.net (is300gtr)

The model they did of my F355 GTS is absolutely perfect. They even put the challenge grill and my Virginia custom license plate on it. My wife bought it for me for my birthday last year. Having built many car models as a kid, I can tell you that the stuff they do is fantastic for the price!

    Hello All,

Once again thank you for the kind comments. Essentially what we would like to do is to have a fully interactive website with customization options. For example we would want to make it possible for customers to come to our website, and design a model from the ground up. With this the customer would be able to see how the model would look before they got it. Also we would like to make it possible for our customers to go on our website and actually place safe and secure orders. There is a particular look that we are shooting for. We really like the look and feel of www.mbusa.com and www.porsche.com.

SexyLex, thank you for the comment, we will be having more pictures for our models. But we need a correct way of displaying the models and the photos online.

As for other suggestions I was talking about the actual model suggestions.

    Thank You Again

Also we are always delighted to hear when a customer is happy with our models.

    Eddie,

Check out www.1gracing.com for site set-up. Click on Color Configurator at the top of the page. You will be able to change exterior and interior colors. If you want to find out who designed their website, contact Dean Rosen at 866-612-6625. Hope this helps.

    Eddie,

I hope you know what you are asking for. I am not trying to being a jerk, I just don't want you to get the surprise of your life when you start pricing this out. I have had many of my customers pass out when I told them how much their idea would cost, and in turn we have toned things down. Lots of flash and lots of interactivity comes at a price.

Also...since I am in the business of selling cars I feel confident in saying that the flashiest sites don't sell the most product. That has been proven to us many times again and again. Look at Goggle, Amazon and Ebay. They move you through the site with good precision and with consistent presentation on every page, and they don't have lots of high bandwidth flash. I think consistencey in presentaion is key

I know that I have been complimented a lot on the Sport Auto site simply because you can get to any page of any car we have in stock in "3 clicks" or less. Also the factory Lamborghini.com site has to be the worst to get around and actually get real information. It's pretty and has lots going on, but not very conducive to finding anything out.

I guess the point of my rambling is to look at what you want your site to do ,and most importantly what do your customers want? I like the look of the site as it is! Just thought I would throw my inputs out there as well.

    Best Regards

    Steve Jones
