Anyone have any opinion when, at what age or in terms of mileage, it is best to divest of a Cayenne TTS? Mine is running beautifully. Love it. But I'm running out of CPO in the spring and it will be 7 years and about 65,000 miles old then. Thoughts?

For the sake of liquidity, I think the time is approaching. I'd try and move it while there was some CPO remaining, which will greatly expand the pool of buyers.

Have you tried the new gen Cayenne T? Fantastic trucks that blow the old ones out of the water in every way... GL :)

I had a similar vintage (but an S) that I sold before the CPO expired. I didn't have the confidence that the car would be reliable enough to own post-CPO. Selling it in the winter sounds like a good idea, unless you really want to keep her much longer term for emotional reasons.

Started a thread on Rennlist and got some feedback from high mileage TTS owners that would seem to indicate the prognosis isn't so bad. I agree it feels wrong to keep it until older, but it seems like a solid Wednesday car and the average cost of ownership in the 80-90k range which will take me through the next few years is low. One can hope. I sure as hell wouldn't be hanging onto a 7+ year old Mercedes.

I think these guys are correct. I sold a BMW with a few months of warranty left and I could tell it reassured the buyers to know that I had no reason to defer any repairs.

Can't argue with that. Peace of mind is a big deal. But if it's going to treat me well, I'm smarter to keep it long term.
