It's been a while since our boys at CC have gotten some EC love, so I need to give some:

Rocco came through for me in BIG way this past week. There was an issue with the 360 that came up during a rental, and they not only did several weeks' worth of work in 1, but they did it on a day's notice and over the Thanksgiving holiday to boot. He put me ahead of some other customers because he knows that this car is my lifeblood at the moment, and I really appreciate it.

Now if they could just let me pay with a check, everything would be perfect...;) (I had to wait 2 hours extra to finagle a credit card payment because all of a sudden they won't take anyone's company checks anymore -- my only complaint.)

    Anyone want some espresso?

Hmm...so that's the reason for the delay.;)

Oh yeah. President Bush has his Ferrari there for service, and they actually told him "Sorry, Noah comes first."

Strange thing is that for some reason none of my credit cards work now and the FBI keeps giving me dirty looks. Weird.

Sorry, dude, I was in the middle of dinner with Keri. It took me a few to get home in front of a fax machine and to get a blood sample sent to their lab for verification of non-deadbeatness.

Thanks for getting me closer to my Centurion Card. :D

Heh. Seriously....I realized that I need an AmEx bizcard now -- this would almost have gotten me enough membership rewards points for a roundtrip Southwest ticket!

LOL. Yes, this time I checked.

It's kinda like The Pill. 99 / 100 times you're fine, but that one time something goes wrong, it REALLY goes wrong. :)

Do you mind me asking, what was wrong with the car and what was done to it?? Several weeks worth of work done in 1???
Did he charge you for the several weeks or the one??

I may have been exaggerating a bit -- several weeks in "ferrari time" ... ;)

Just a laundry list of little fixups that have arisen over the last 8 months and 20,000 miles (new tires, wheel alignment, loose headlight wiring casuing flickering, brake squeeling, etc. etc. etc. etc. x 100)

The straw that broke the camel's back was when the passenger side window fell off-track and wouldn't close -- that kinda put a damper on one of the rentals.

But car's as good as new now -- ready for the next 20,000...

Ouch. Sounds like it was a lot of work. Glad your car is as good as new.
