Mr. Irrelevant, Kevin McMahon will be enjoying the sights and sounds of the Crystal Cove gathering this week. Mr. Irrelevant is the LAST draft pick in the NFL. Mr. Irrelevant will be arriving by a FERRARI. PLEASE HELP KEEP A SPOT OPEN FOR HIS RIDE. This is the 31st (XXXI) Irrelevant Week which always takes place in Newport Beach. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Raiders and because of his Raiders practice schedule, the week is going to be in REVERSE - The Irrelevant Week starts this Thursday with the Lowsman Banquet and ends with the Departure Party (formerly known as the Arrival Party) at the Newport Dunes at 5 pm on Monday June 19th. $15 includes food and there is a no-host bar. All are invited. At the Departure Party, we shower him with Gifts. The gifts are Irrelevant knick knacks that one might have floating around (such as a Dietrich T-shirt). www.irrelevantweek.com for more details.

Wouldn't matter if he came by tricycle or the rarest Ferrari in the world - you can't (or we for that matter) save spots at Crystal Cove. If he wants to park in the main area, he needs to be there bright and early.

    Nice catch! LOL.

As much fun as this will be and as much as we'd like to help out, it might actually be more fitting if he has to park in the sidelots. :D

Seriously though, as Brian said above, if he wants a spot in the show lot, he needs to be there by 6:30 or so. Might be able to get a spot by Starbucks a little later, but no promises. Congrats Kevin.

At CC, you are only a special guest if you are driving a special car. Thats what is so great about it! nobody really gets treated any better than anyone else. God knows there are some influential people that show up there every weekend (oh and I mean influential in terms of actually doing, or having done something meaningful). Some people know who they are, some don't. But thats the beauty is that regardless of who that person is, they are just another car guy when at CC. One of the coolest things I've seen, is a guy who came in a Murcielago talking with a guy who drives a Mini, asking him questions about it, and complimenting him! Couldn't agree more, you want a spot? get up earlier.
