Just curious, as I plan to upgrade my brakes at sometime in the future, why did you choose to go to CCM vs. a standard big brake aftermarket system? Not trying to flame, just asking...

I want to keep my car as OEM as possible. Have always thought the brake calipers and discs on the 360 to small, especially with 19" CS wheels. This upgrade is for me purely cosmetic.

If anyone decides to go steel, or a smaller budget, Vivid has the 380 FRONT
Stoptech kit on sale for under $2900. Not bad...
Add some Stoptech rear matching rotors, nice set up for reasonable price.

Big problem with the 398 mm rotors and 6 piston calipers on the later Ferraris is fitting them under 19" wheels. They barely fit (Scud/16M) under the 7.5" Challenge front wheels from what I understand. On later brakes for the 458, it might be possible to exchange hats from the 114.3 mm bolt circle to the 108 mm bolt circle. Have not checked on that, but both the hats have a 10 bolt attachment to the friction rings. A Ferrari dealer or big shop would probably give you an old set of 108 mm rotors if the hats will interchange. I have one here now that was made into a clock.

458 carbon ceramic brakes are not the same as 360/430 brakes. Nothing really works between them.

You mean besides the larger size rotors (same as the Scud/16M at 398 mm x 36 mm F) and different wheel bolt pattern? Rears are the same diameter at 350 mm, but it looks like the F430 discs may be thicker at 34 vs 32 mm.

Wow.. This looks like a fabulous idea! Any interest in building a couple sets of these parts needed to do this? Could help offset the cost...? I'd be very interested!

The biggest hurdles found was locating the callipers as they are very very popular with Porsche cup guys they maybe easy to find in USA, I have only just located a second pair of callipers to start my project. I need to source info on any brake balance issues I may encounter using these Porsche calliper as I'm using the same callipers on all four corner it may not be a issue the piston sizes on my callipers are 28,30,32 from memory. There's a few F chat guys using the 6 piston brembo GT setup (very nice set up) on all four corners with no brake bal issues, the piston sizes on them GT callipers are 26,28,30. It will take me sometime before I Finish this upgrade. So when I get around to it it's not a problem to make up couple of extra sets of mounting hardware for you it's just gonna be a while before I can start my project.

Found a set af calipers on e-bay from a 599. The seller claims they would fit 360 and 430.

    Anybody tried this?

599's have the wrong size pistons for an F430. Same goes for 458 calipers.
