OK, I hope this is not a stupid question but is there a trick to eject the cd changer Magazine in the front trunk? When I press the button on the changer in the trunk, nothing happens. Also, when I select the MODE on the stereo, it says MAGAZINE. So all I get to choose from is FM, TAPE, and MAGAZINE. I have a 99 360 Modena with 27k miles, it might be possible that no one has ever used the CD changer on this unit so it might not be activated. When I took delivery of it 2 weeks ago, I had to enter the BECKER radio code before I was able to listen to the radio.

Not a stupid question. I had trouble on my 6 CD changer on my F430.

There must be a technique. First you must slide back the cover. Then what I did was push it down and move it to the front or back, I cannot remember which. It took me a few tries before it popped.

The changer along with the becker radio is a sad POS.
After sliding the "roof" of the changer there is a tiny release aling the left wall,In order to get a "microfinger" to find it pull the cd or the mechanism to the right to expose it.
Then when loaded push the 3rd black button for the right on the radio to activate the CD.
    Ridiculous!!

I have a 2001 360... just slide the door back and there is a little button you push. Works first time everytime on mine. I haven't had any problems with it so far. Just load the CD's in and then put it back in and push it down until it clicks.. then slide the door back.

Sounds like the mag is jammed. There might be a cd stuck. If the radio says MAGAZINE on the display then the changer has power. If there is no power the radio will not show anything on the display. Sounds like it needs to go for service or needs to be replaced.

Thanks for the replies, I do not think there is any cd's in it. I will let you know if this does the trick as the button does not do anything right now
