Hello, an aftermarket CD player was removed from the car prior to me acquiring it. I do not see a wiring harness to tap into with my new head unit. Anyone have any guidance for wiring the new radio in?

Where can I get a kit that will fit my new head unit into the slot under the cover, and has anyone made a photo guide of installing their stereo in a 348?

Is there a GPS/NAV/DVD head unit with a built in screen (not motorized) that will fit in the slot under the cover, and is there also a motorized one that you guys know of that will clear the funky angle with the cover?

    Thanks!

I have been doing allot of looking as well (but for a 355) and I found one option for a single din non flip screen that was name brand; JVC KD-NXD505. Alternatively, I found this unit that on paper looks amazing but the price is really low and scares me to even try one, the gps nav is probably garbage, but what if it works great; http://www.amazon.com/Innovatek-Multimedia-Bluetooth-internet-adapter/dp/B005OSITME/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1328482198&sr=8-4

As for the flip screen ones, virtually all of them I looked at are not fixed in terms of where the screen stops, you can config them. Several I looked at have two retract buttons, one to totally retract, and one to flip down enough to see the gauges hidden by it.
