Anyone have a copy on CD or PDF form. Would like to have the workshop and technical manuals.
I bought the disk off Ebay last year for my 328 and then had 50 people tell me they would of sent a copy for free, so thought I would ask before I purchased a copy...

I can get those on Ebay for a third of those prices---didn't really want to pay much of anything if someone has them in a PDF format and can email them to me...

Be careful what you buy on ebay for '1/3 the price'.

The official manuals (2 workshop and 1 parts) are ~ 2 gig and run ~ $400.

There are other manuals around that you can get as free downloads or maybe pay a few $ for, but they simply do not have the detail needed to work on the F cars.

    Regards,

    Pete

Hmmm, mines complete 3 Volumes of Workshop Manuals + 1 Volume Parts.

PDF's - all unofficial scanned pages but someone has indexed them and the text parts list is searchable.

    Volume 1 is 624,091 KB
    Volume 2 is 410,795 KB
    Volume 3 is 320,615 KB
    Parts is 40,580 KB

    Total 1.33 GB

The size dosn't really mean anything. As all the pages are scanned images it depends on the stored resolution of the images (how close you can zoom and still have clear detail) and what format they are in (probably JPEGs) and all images can be optimised to varying degrees of quality/size.

I quoted my file size merely to point out that if what you are thinking of buying matches these sizes then I would recommend that copy. I didnt get mine from ebay and it cost a couple of hundred bucks as I recall but it was a few years ago now. I would have thought that all the copies out there came from the same source as it would take an age to build these docs by hand.

The only weak point in my copy are the circuit diagrams at the back. They are OK but spread over 4 pages each, I am in the process of drawing new full colour ones (it will take ages).
