Just got the mailer on this year's event. August 22 thru August 24. Friday Aug. 22 4:30- 7:00 PM. Film Fest and cocktail party at Mountain Chalet in Snowmass Village. Saturday Aug. 23 8 AM to 2 PM. Exotic car show in Aspen. 6:30- 9:00 PM. Banquet and trophy presentations. Sunday Aug. 24 8 AM. Maroon Bells tour (optional) 11 AM Brunch on the deck at Mountain Dragon in Snowmass (optional) You can drive back to Denver on Sunday or Monday with the group to avoid the traffic. No Woody Creek track event this year.
Can I assume you'll be there Phil? I will try my best to do this, the 23rd annual (and FINAL) event! The drive through Maroon Bells sounds pretty cool. I've been having a hard time getting my car out of the garage, let alone to an event, so I think I owe it at least one good weekend this year.
I am very disappointed about there being no track. I talked to Bill Miller yesterday at the State Patrol event and he said they just want more rent than CECA can afford. I'll probably show up for the car show, don't know about anything else. Dave
