CEL / MIL button non functional bank 5-8. 1995 348

I found that my CEL bulbs were missing from my dash. I put some in. Both lights come on when key is turned. 1-4 light goes out when I start the engine but 5-8 light stays on. I pulled a couple codes from 1-4 and apparently cleared them. However, there is no response from the 5-8 light when the button is pushed. I believe my buttons are factory original as they are mounted in brackets welded to the firewall. I was going to remove the button and try to clean it's contacts/test it but I can't figure out how to get it out of the bracket. I disconnected it and was going to try to jump it but there are three wires and I didn't want to just go connecting random pairs of them. The car runs really good, albeit with an idle that the tach says is 1800rpm. I think this is wrong, however, because when I idle it down to an indicated 1200rpm it sounds like it is about to stall.

What should I do next? Help me Ferrarichat.com, you're my only hope.
