Have had my car over at the stealer, I mean dealer a few times lately for a cel 1-4 light. Can't seem to figure this one out. They have pulled the code and say it is a multiplicitive code. Is anyone here familiar with this. We have swapped the 02 sensors I believe and it came back on after about 200 miles or so. Runs and sounds perfect when driving it. Also the oil pressure gauge does move quite a bit in range after a good warm up. Maybe from 90 to 135 lbs while on the freeway. Driving at 80mph to 110mph. Is this normal? Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Could be anything with the fuel system. Hard to even guess over the internet
MAF, air leak, bad header bad fuel regulator. With OBD1 you need to get down and dirty checking parts individually.

Anything that would turn it rich

    You know the exact codes?

I do not know the exact codes off hand. I'm sure the shop does. Have new fabspeed headers as off 8k miles ago.

Before you start trying to track this down, disconnect the battery and let the car sit for at least 1/2 hour. The reconnect the battery and start the car. Make sure you do not press the accelerator. Let the car idle for 10 or 15 minutes. See if the code comes back. Sounds like a 1212 code.

It basically means the ECU doesn't like what it is seeing from the O2 sensor, not that the sensor is not working. Tim listed a few of the things it could be. I'd just be guessing as to the cause. I suggested the ECU reset because it could be just that the ECU got out of sync if the car was started with the accelerator depressed somewhat. I guess the first next thing I would do is monitor the O2 sensor output in real time. A little more difficult to do with a ODB I car.

Seems like live data from a factory scan tool would be the way to figure this out. An easy thing to try is swap maf sensors from side to side and see if it follows it.

If the new code is for the other side now you may have found the issue
Or just put an ohm meter on the MAP
