    Hey Guys

I bought the car (unseen) about 6 weesk ago - a Ferrari dealer did the PPI and said there no codes and the compression test was good... Car was shipped home (FL to TX) and sent to get the interior redone as I waited for a lift and my garage to be prepped for the major...

On picking up the car from the interior place, I noticed the CEL was on... drove home, read the codes and got:
    P0151
    P1445
    P1447
    P1448
    P1691

Codes were cleared, compression test done (cold engine, all cylinders between 165-185), plugs reinstalled and car started (left to idle for 10 min to relearn)... the SDL started blinking while the car was still in idle, about 5 min after start...

Engine off, let it cool for about an hour... Restarted car, and the SDL blink came on instantly... Stays blinking during a short drive (x2)...

    Read codes again, now showing:
    P0151
    P1445

Given that the SDL is now blinking immediately after start (as opposed to after letting the CAT get hot), what should I be looking for?

    Thanks!

You should be looking for which of the three Thermal Control Units is causing that SDL. If it is a black unit, you should change it to a Green unit. Clear the codes, and see if it comes back. If it does, you need to figure out which side of the engine is running hot by measuring the temperature of the cat converter using an infrared thermometer. Then figure out why it is running rich and fix it.

It came from Florida. Oh well.

I believe the P1445 code ("Catalyst protection active") relates to bank #1 because P1454 is "Catalyst protection active (Bank 2)"

Try swapping the Thermocouple ECUs, erase codes and see if you get a P1454. If the problem doesn't transfer, replace the thermocouple and/or check wiring.

P0151 relates to the O2 upstream sensor on bank 2: "low voltage"
