We are truely blessed with what we have. Often taking for granted the health we enjoy and the things we have. When we meet those that are less fortunate and are able to help our hearts get usually filled with something money cannot buy, a sense of happiness and joy, unsurpassed.
Make A Wish is one of the organisations that is making a difference in the lifes of thousands of sick children. Children that have gone through pain and suffering we have never endured. Make a Wish fulfills wishes of children all over the US that have suffered more than we may imagine. To pay for those wishes fundraising efforts are needed and this is where wonderful people from our Ferrari community come to play. Mandy Reimert who has raced for Make A Wish for many years in the Ferrari Challenge series the #19 car being one and Jeff Ipolitti who has put a world-class event together in just three years with the "Celebration Exotic Car Festival" having over 200 cars in downtown Celebration facing the task of turning people away from the event, because they reached max capacity.
This weekend at the Celebration event Jeff and his volunteers have raised by their efforts a very very respectable amount.
Jeff, from me and I am sure countless others, thank you for your effort. It was an honor to have been part of this. I am looking forward to next year.

Jeff please give us a tally. I know it was 6 figure.

Martin- This is Mark Wilson. It was great to finally meet you. I could'nt agree with you more about this event. Jeff and gang are total class. I had the privelege of driving Charley Pena in my F40 in the rally. Charley suffers from Sickle Cell Anemia which is an extremely painful and often fatal disease. Some of you may remember him from ESPN as he was the Eagles "coach for a day".I really bonded with this 13 year old kid and was just amazed how bright and happy he was about life considering his ordeal. He was also smart enough to pull down the first place trophy with me ! This year he will go through Chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. He will not be able to go back to school for 1 year if he is lucky. I plan on visiting him in New York and have been in contact with him even today. He was so grateful for his experience and his mom told me that these were the moments that carry him through the tough times. Next time you twist the key(or push the button) in your FCar, remember how lucky we are to enjoy this "extra" in life. Like I said yesterday, I have been a Ferrari owner for 15 years and yesterday was my greatest day in a Ferrari. Peace to Charley and Make a Wish and thanks to Jeff and all involved.

a Thanks to you for making this gracious donation. I can see how you bonded. He is a great kid. His mom is a riot as well. Still laughing about her trying to coax the "Christmas Box" answer from everybody at the bakery :D

Good people for sure... I called his house Monday night, his whole family was on the phone asking questions, full of excitement from their experience. It was fun, I'll keep all in tune on Charlie's progress as I find out. I'll let you know about Sebring too..MW
