    Hi,

Do any of you know the center bore of the 400 wheels ? I need this measurement for modifying a set of new wheels.

    Thanks,
    Arvid

Hi Arvid, I am measuring 41.81mm on the outside face center bore of the Cromodora (where the yellow wheel cap fits), as shown on the picture, perhaps the specification is 42 mm, as 41.81 looks odd. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I think that Arvid is needing what's now called the "hubcentric" dimension to keep the wheel centered in rotation.

Arvid, if this is the case, try measuring the protrusion from the mounting face of the hub/spindle.

You are right Kurt. The correct wording would be hubcentric - the center hole on the backside of wheel,or the protrusion on the hub. I would most certainly measure if I had the car with me bud that is not the case at the moment.

Thank you Jean-Michel. Could I ask you to measure the inside hole on the wheel ?

    Regards,
    Arvid

Yes Arvid, I will try to measure that diameter, sorry I misinterpreted the picture for being the outside face.

I am getting 67.26mm for the inside diameter but my calliper is not stable, I will get a better calliper to-morrow. The hole has a complex geometry with 4 different diameters from inside to outside (67.26 to 41.81 as measured). Do you need the 4 different diameters and their respective offset locations?

Thank You Jean-Michel. This was excellent :) No need for further measures - the ca.67mm was what I needed.

    Thanks again,
    Arvid
