My central locking has stopped working - both doors lock and open using the key manually, but I cannot hear the 'buzz' made by the actuator on either door. More annoying is the fact that all the interior and 'door pool' lights remain on once the doors are locked, so I have had to remove the No 3 fuse otherwise all the interior lights stay on all the time.

I suspect the drivers 'main' actuator has gone? - anyone have a part number or alternative supplier for the door central locking actuator to avoid the Ferrari luxury tax?

Saab used the same actuators in about the same years.

If the drivers actuator is bad it took the passenger with it. The failure mode was the internal timer relay goes bad and runs both motors until they melt.
If there is a melted area on the plastic case, thats what happened.

I replaced the door lock actuators in my Mondial, fried ones below looked like this when I took them out, constant 12 volt positive to them means if they short out they melt! I think the 308 328 348 may share the same actuators, I have a few extra if you need a pair.

Alden I believe my actuators are fried as well, it hasn’t been working for years. I’m interested on a pair, how much do you want for them?

Thanks Aiden - clearly I'm too slow on the forum. If your spares are not available can you tell me where you got yours from?

I understand that Ford Falcon and Saab 900 actuators are the same as the Ferrari ones?

I have collected them over the past 7 years or so. I have 2 pairs and one single, shown in the pic. Shoot me a PM/DM. This is not an ad, only trying to help out fellow owners!
