    Good afternoon everyone,

What Porsche shops are in the area and can be recommended? The "usual suspects" that I am aware of are Mario Lomedico and Bodymotion.

Does anyone have experience with either shop? Other recommendations?

I know people speak very highly of Holt Motorsports but Westchester (PA) is not so convenient.

I am zero-ing in on the purchase of a late '80s 911 Carrera and looking towards its future needs.

    Thanks and regards,
    Scott

You should be able to tackle general maintenance on a 3.2 carrera at home. Get ready to become involved by learning to do the simple stuff (oil change, etc). Join the PCA Jersey Shore region. Welcome to potential Porsche experience. Mike Bavvaro of Bodymotion is a master mechanic and racer.

    I use Bodymotion. They're fine.

Gene Kirshner at Autohaus in Chatham, NJ probably has the best reputation in the state, but that would be a bit of a drive for you.
