Has anyone removed the console between the seats of a Testarossa?

I would like to remove mine over this winter but would appreciate a list of basic instructions on how to do it.

My car is a Euro 1987 F113B model but I think the centre console is probably very similar to most cars.

Any experience that you have is much appreciated.

p.s. the rest of the interior is already removed.

While I did the exact same thing Portogts did when I removed my console, I have since seen a post by Rifledriver stating that it was better to leave the switch panel in place and simply unplug the large wiring harness under the dash in front of the console. I have not investigated this yet. If I have time tonight I will try and find his post.

I removed mine the way Rifeldriver said and it was a breeze. Just unplug entire harness from main harness in passenger footwell. When done this way everything can be tucked back under console neatly.
